I live in Brighton and this is the greatest library
around – the nicest people, the greatest programs, warm atmosphere – I love
it here.

Sign: Refrain from unnecessary noise. This is a
very noisy library.
This is such
a wonderful library. I live in Rochester, but often drive here for the
experience. The collections (adult and children) are so lovingly tended.
Whoever is purchasing the books is doing a great job! Merry Christmas!

It's great that patrons and staff are social and
enjoy themselves at the library. But...we could really use a quiet
study area away from the main room.
The Music CD selection is fantastic! Wonderful job
with a wide range of styles.
Every month you put out a list of new fiction, never
a list of new non-fiction. If I miss a book one month there is no way
to look up on a list like they can with a request for a last month fiction
book.

level to be high - What happened to "Quiet" in the libraries?

Great community resource!! Well stocked – Books,
CD’s, DVD’s, etc. Professional, helpful, all nice staff. And a peaceful
place to relax and read. Keep up the great work.
The Children’s videos (DVD’s) the majority of them are scratches. It is very disappointing for the child so we do not borrow them anymore.
Thank you for your increased selection of job search
books, the new section devoted to the topic and the dedicated terminal.
It certainly helped me on my job search and shows you are in tune with your
patrons. Thank You!

I enjoy visiting the Chili Public Library. The
people are so friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the staff picks that were
displayed at the beginning of the summer. I read a book that was
outstanding! Thank you!

Thank goodness for the library!! I needed a shop
manual for my Jeep and it was there! The library saved me $$ and allowed me
to fix my car myself. Talk about empowerment!! Thanks again!

This was my fist visit
to the Chili Branch and I was very impressed. The seating areas were
comfortable, everything was neat and organized, the staff was polite and
helpful. I look forward to returning more often.

staff was so helpful, efficient, courteous, knowledgeable – made the entire
process simple and pain free. Kudos to the library for hosting this!

The Chili Public Library is excellent. Not only has it kept up with
the times (technology), it makes itself comfortable (décor) giving patrons a
strong sense of the importance of libraries in our lives (an extension of
“home”. One can curl up with a good book – can get information of any
kind). The reference librarian is outstanding – goes out of her way to
assure you that she has provided the best and most reliable information. If
prizes were awarded she would deserve “first prize”. But all the staff is
good.

I really enjoy the “One Stroke Painting Classes” at the library.
Please continue having more of them. Also I wish you would order some for
the BBC Masterpiece Theatre DVDs. I have to order them from other
libraries. Some of my favorite Masterpiece Theater DVDs are Agatha Christie
and the Dramas of famous authors.

Internet, e-mail, print forms, send a fax, all of which I had never done
before. I was so grateful that you had all of these services available!

I love the Playaways! Keep on getting new titles! One suggestion – Please include an extra battery in the case if you can – I was half-way through when the battery died. They are an odd size.

The knitting and crochet class was great. I learned a lot with the
teacher Nancy V. It also was a lot of fun! Look forward to more classes.

Our youngest daughter is enjoying the Books-N-Bites Book Club. She
loves to read. I took the knitting and crochet classes and really enjoyed
them. Thank you. It’s nice there are things for both children and adults.

I would love to see a more balanced collection of books on CD. Your
fiction seems to be populated Janet Evanovich and James Patterson. If I
want to listen to Bohjalian, Shreve and more classics I have to put books on
hold from Pittsford, Penfield and the city.

Turning off the computers 15 minutes before closing is too soon! Ten minutes is better. Also, signing in to use a computer would monitor the allotted time for everyone. I’ve noticed kids have more than one library card so stay on and take time away from others. I get out of work at 5:00pm. By then, all computers are taken so if they have extra cards, my time on *by the time I can get a computer) is shortened.
