Due to the continuing problem with the loss of library materials, the Monroe County Library System has contracted with  a collection agency to assist in the recovery of non-returned library materials & unpaid fines. The library system is committed to providing materials that meet patron needs. Non-returned books, videos, CDS and other materials are not available for other patrons to use or check out and replacing lost materials is costly. To protect taxpayer dollars, the library must make every effort to recover lost materials. All unresolved accounts over $35. will be turned over to Unique Management Services, Inc. A service charge of $15. will be added to the balance. Please help us to serve all library patrons by returning overdue materials today.
